Leading US-based race fuel manufacturer, VP Racing Fuels, has been announced as the main supporter of 2019’s Rallyday event, set to be held at Castle Combe Circuit on Saturday, 21 September.
Retaining its celebrated ethos of providing only the best-quality racing fuels to the motorsport world since its conception in the 1970s, VP has since enjoyed several decades at the top of its game, now offering over 70 acclaimed fuelling blends to suit all corners of the competitive automotive industry.
VP also now proudly acts as the official control racing fuel for over 60 series worldwide, including the likes of AMA Supercross, NMRA and Rally America. Talking of rallying, the fact that the current M-Sport Ford Fiesta R5’s ECU was mapped specifically to work on VP’s tailor-made ‘R5’ fuel should tell you everything you need to know about the gravity of this outfit.
The partnership means that VP’s wide array of products will be available to pre-order in time for the large amount of testing race day events held at the Wiltshire venue each year – more details of which will be made available very shortly.
Rallyday is the UK’s premier rally-focused show, giving fans the chance to enjoy the spectacle of seeing a wide range of rally cars and stars in an open and spectator-friendly environment each year. Tickets, Clubman Packages and trade stands are currently readily available for 2019’s instalment.
VP’s Business Development Consultant in Europe, Peter Coleman, commented on the announcement. “With successful partnerships already in place at other UK venues, we felt it was geographically perfect for Castle Combe to be the latest circuit for VP to get involved with. With the race track’s almost 70-year history and an outstanding reputation for racing, we’re delighted to now be closely involved with its busy 2019 calendar here.”
Tom Davis, Castle Combe Circuit’s Head of Sales and Marketing, was also positive about the news. “We are delighted that VP approached us and together, we will be able to offer a first-class race fuel solution to all of our competitors and visitors.”
